Cards are the individual units of information to study. They come in various shapes and forms, but essentially consist of a question and an answer.
Questions are prompts for recall. They are the thing that when encountered, you'd like to recall something related.
Questions do not need to be worded as questions, they can be statements, concepts, definitions, etc. The important thing is that they should trigger a recall of their answer.
Answers are what you want to be able to recall. They have a memory association with the question.
