Folders

Folders are used to organize cards related to a specific topic. Folders can be studied independently, allowing you to focus your study sessions.

Create and Organize Folders

In the sidebar, add new folders using the + Add Folder button at the bottom toolbar.

Folders can be nested inside other folders to create a hierarchy.

Folder Badge Numbers

Besides the folder name, two badge numbers indicate the status of cards in the folder:

  • A prominent badge number indicates how many cards are Ready to Study in the folder.
  • A subtle badge number indicates how many cards are unavailable to study currently.

The Unsorted section

Folders are optional - Cards that are not assigned to a folder can be found in the Unsorted section and can be studied like in any other folder. This special Unsorted section is great for any cards that don’t fit neatly into any category but you'd still like to learn them.

The unsorted section has a special Move all to Folder feature that allows you to quickly move all Unsorted cards into a new or existing folder.

This is a handy way to collect cards without organizing them, then moving them all to their respective category later.
